The caller received a call from the affected voter, who was sent an absentee ballot without presidential candidates listed on it. She always votes absentee. But this year, her ballot had only the "amendments" on it, and not the presidential candidates. Her spouse, who never votes, told her it would be sent separately. So she sent it in as is. About a week later she still had not received the ballot for presidential candidates, so she called the election board. Spoke to 5 different people. Finally she got mad. A few days later, a man called and said they would drive her to the polls, and she could vote a good ballot. But her husband is 84 and she and her son are handicapped (she has CAPD), so it is not possible for her to go to the polls. Her absentee ballot will not be fixed, and she is very disappointed because this race matters to her.
